FAQ & Troubleshooting

Quick answers to the questions new members ask most: how to log in, why the Co-pilot went quiet, where a tab went, and why an alert stayed quiet. Most of these are working-as-designed behaviors, not bugs — each answer links the full page if you want the detail.

  • Your access key works as a password everywhere — no separate login field for it.
  • Paid with Apple Pay and your email isn't found? Use your license key on the welcome page instead.
  • A red data-age chip or a Play withheld Co-pilot usually mean the same thing: no live session right now.
  • Old /chart bookmarks still work — they open StrikeChart.
  • Alerts are quiet until you grant your browser's notification permission.
  • Everything here is educational — not financial advice.
Note

Nothing on this page is a trade signal. StrikeGEX shows you the levels the app highlights; how you act on that is your call. For the why, follow the Learn links.

Access

What do I log in with?
Your checkout email plus a password. If you never set a password, use the access key from your welcome email — on the sign-in page, email + license key work there too, so the key works anywhere a password does. See Activate your account.
I paid with Apple Pay and my email isn't found.
Apple Pay (and Google Pay) can hand checkout your wallet's email — often your Apple ID / iCloud address — instead of the one you typed. On the welcome page, click Email not found or paid with Apple Pay? Use your license key and enter the license key from your receipt to claim the account. Full walkthrough on Activate your account.
How do I set a password later?
Setting a password is optional — your access key already works as one. To add or change it, use the password field on the welcome/claim screen after checkout, or the account settings inside the app. If you skipped it at signup, your key keeps working in the meantime.

Data

Why did entries disappear from the Co-pilot?
The Co-pilot withholds the play rather than guessing. A directional lean still needs sufficient confluence, a named setup, executable option quality, and a confirmed chart trigger. If the live flow lens goes dark it also stays read-only. Setup Status names what is missing — details on Co-pilot signals.
What does the red data-age chip mean?
The data-age chip counts time since the last update. Green (just now / Ns ago) is fresh, amber is slightly behind, and red (Nm ago, a few minutes and up) means the feed hasn't refreshed lately — treat those levels as stale until it goes green again. When the market is closed you'll see an As of … market closed banner, which is expected. See Data freshness.
Tip

A Play withheld Co-pilot and a red data-age chip usually share one cause: there's no live session right now. That's expected off-hours — the standing levels on the heatmap are still there to prep from.

Platform

Where did the Chart tab go?
The old Chart tab folded into StrikeChart. Any old /chart bookmark still works — it opens StrikeChart in its Levels mode, the clean view that draws the King, Call Wall, and Put Wall on the candles. See StrikeChart.
Why don't I see the Commander tab?
Commander is part of Pro, but its tab button is hidden on some views. Open it directly by adding /commander to the URL — the console loads the same way. More in The Commander tab.
A symbol is missing on StrikeMap.
StrikeMap coverage adjusts automatically — symbols come and go with liquidity, so a ticker you saw before may drop out for a session and return later. If one you rely on stays missing, ask in Discord and we'll take a look. More on the grid in StrikeMap.
My alerts aren't firing.
Browser notifications are off until you grant permission. Open Push Notifications in your account settings and enable them — when on, you'll receive browser notifications even when StrikeGEX isn't open. If your browser blocked the prompt, re-allow notifications for the site in its site settings. See Alerts & account.

Billing

How do I cancel, or what happens after my trial?
Cancellation, trial timing, and plan changes all live on one page. See Plans & billing for how billing works and how to make changes.
